SEAI grant works, Grant number 16267
You start the process and we do the rest.
Leinster Gas can apply and claim the SEAi grant on your behalf. We will take the grant money off the bill and claim the grant on your behalf.
To apply for the SEAI heating upgrade grant of €750 all you need to do is send us:
- Your MPRN number (11 digit number located on your electrical bill starting with 100)
- The year the house was built,
- Your email address,
- House owners name
Apply for the SEAI Grant
The following controls are mandatory when applying for a SEAI heating upgrade grant:
- Zoned hot water and heating
- Motorised valves to control the zones
- 7 day programmer
- Room stat
- Cylinder stat
Thermostatic radiator valves on 40% of the radiators, we install thermostatic valves on 100% of the radiators. Grant €750…. €700 for heating upgrade with high efficenty boiler + €50 for BER (building energy rating) cert. Cost of a BER cert €80-€180.
The cost for us to install the heating ontrols is on average €700.
A survey of your house will be needed, as sometimes we need an extra pipe from the boiler to the hotpress or a extra 5 core cable from the boiler to the hotpress, depending on how your heating system was installed.
TO APPLY FOR THE GRANT YOURSELF
If you would like to apply for the grant yourself you can follow these 4 steps.
The SEAI offer a grant of €3500 on the retrofit of a air to water heat pump. Give Leinster Gas a call to discuss further.
